Functie omschrijving Finance Manager

The Finance Manager is responsible for the administration of the restaurants in The Netherlands and Germany, with possible expansion to other countries and the office in Amsterdam. The Finance Manager ensures the timely closing of periods, providing clear P&L statements for each restaurant individually. This also includes the overhead of the offices in Düsseldorf and Amsterdam.

You will ensure that they, together with the GL accountants, prepare all balance reconciliations. There is a need for someone who can coach the team to translate the large amount of data (from various sources) into clear bookings and accurate balance positions. Due to the rapid growth of the organization, there is a need for optimization and someone who can help us facilitate further growth.

• Manage a team of 4 colleagues of the GL department;
• Ensure the timely closing of periods;
• Providing clear P&L statements for each restaurant;
• Develop and maintain successful working relationships with internal stakeholders and the finance team;
• Drive process improvements by leveraging available technology within the ERP system;
• Set up the entire administration for new acquisitions;
• Lead and coordinate key projects that impact the accounts payable function;
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for management;
• Cultivate a diverse culture of teamwork, operational excellence, and innovation, aligned with our organizational values.

Functie eisen

• Master degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics;
• 6+ years of experience leading or supervising function;
• Experience in team leadership, development, and mentorship;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Strong month-end and year-end reporting experience;
• Demonstrated track record in process improvement and system enhancement projects;
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
