How many times can you do the Darkmoon Faire profession quests? ›

You can only complete Darkmoon Faire profession quests once per event. If you have already completed the profession quest this calendar month, you must wait until the next calendar month starts before the quest will become available at the fair again.

Darkmoon Faire Tickets

You earn tickets by completing repeatable quests, turning in specific animal parts, or from particular items made with Engineering, Leatherworking, or Blacksmithing.

Where. Make your way to Darkmoon Island through portals in Elwynn Forest (Alliance) and Mulgore (Horde). You can easily reach the portals located in Elwynn Forest and Mulgore by paying a Darkmoon Faire Mystic Mage (located in Stormwind, Orgrimmar, and Dalaran) to teleport you there.

The Darkmoon Faire is technically located in Southern Darkmoon Island, but you can fast travel there using portals in Elwynn Forest or Mulgore. You can also pay any of the Darkmoon Faire Mystic Mages found in Stormwind, Orgrimmar, or Dalaran to teleport you directly to the Elwynn Forest or Mulgore portal entrances.

About the Faire

These quests are not dailies. You can do, "...up to five skill points per profession, per Faire week..." [Source]. This means you can do them only once per month.

Darkmoon Faire Prize Tickets are obtained by turning in animal parts, as well as some engineering, leathering, and blacksmithing tradeskill goods. You have to have the tradeskills to be able to talk the professional exchangers. Ticket exchange availablity varies on your level and profession.

I have found that farming rugged leather and making rugged armor kits was a fast way to get tickets. Here is a breakdown: 8 rugged armor kits = 20 tickets. You'll need 480 rugged armor kits to get the required 1200 tickets.

As before, there are four Gilded Voyages to choose from, including one for the Gold Hoarders, the Merchant Alliance, the Order of Souls, and, if you are a Pirate Legend, the Athena's Fortune. You can do just one or all of them, but you can only do each once.

Darkmoon Nobles Deck is a repeatable quest at Darkmoon Faire for a trinket. If you picked one trinket and have decided you'd like a different one, you can obtain the cards again and create a new deck to turn in for your preferred trinket.
