Study will be part of the planning commissions program for the coming year The lack of decent housing especially for low income families and the elderly along with blighted and deteriorating areas in have intensified traffic congestion and the influx of mobile homes into certain residential areas have resulted incompatible land uses Problems enforcing codesj ordinances and subdivision regulations town according to the Annual Performance Report and Program Design -presented to the planners at their last meeting In addition the planning commission will continually review the community development and housing assistance plan each year and will update community development priorities outlined in the plan the report said Among accomplishments during the 1976-1977 planning year according to the report were: Preparation of a housing study for the community Approval of a memorandum of understanding with the Hawkins County Soil Conservation District: Redesigning a site plan for the Rogersville Community Park: Updating of the Hawkins County Landfill Study Preparation of two annexation studies Coordination with Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) officials on plans for power
