There are 25 gold medals up for grabs on Thursday at the Paris Olympics. We look at where those medals will be won and which Brits will be in action.

Team GB athletes and medal hopes
Two-time world champion Katarina Johnson-Thompson is seeking a first Olympic medal as the women's heptathlon gets under way. Joining her in representing Team GB is Jade O'Dowda, bronze medallist at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
The action kicks off at 9.05am with the 100m hurdles. The high jump also takes place in the morning session, before the shot put event and 200m race are contested on Thursday evening at the Stade de France.

Staying on the track, Laura Muir, Georgia Bell and Revee Walcott-Nolan run in the women's 1500m semi-finals at 6.35pm. Muir won silver at the Tokyo Olympics three years ago, following up with gold at the Commonwealth Games a year later and bronze in the Worlds in 2022.

The track cycling continues with all four events of the men's omnium taking place from 4pm, with Ethan Hayter - a two-time omnium world champion - holding Britain's medal hopes.
Emma Finucane and Katy Marchant, who have already won gold in Paris in the women's team sprint, will compete in the women's keirin quarter finals from 4:15pm, with the gold medal race at 6.10pm.

Elsewhere, Jade Jones begins her bid to win a third Olympic taekwondo gold medal when the women's -57kg event gets under way
The 31-year-old, who triumphed in London and Rio, goes up against North Macedonia's Miljana Reljikj at 11am in her opening bout, with the final set for 8.35pm.
Bradly Sinden, silver medallist in Tokyo, also competes in the men's -68kg category with an opening encounter against Papua New Guinea's Kevin Sogo Kassman at 10am. The men's final is set for 8.20pm.
There's a whole heap of Brits hoping to medal in the sailing, with Ellie Aldridge currently second in the standings going into Thursday's women's kite medal race, while Connor Bainbridge sits in eighth in the men's event.
John Gimson and Anna Burnet, silver medallists from Tokyo, also start their mixed multihull medal race in third after it was postponed yesterday.
In the diving, the men's 3m springboard diving final takes place from 2pm, with Jack Laugher having qualified in third place and Team GB team-mate Jordan Houlden in fifth.
Laugher has already earned a bronze medal in Paris to go with silver from Rio and a further bronze in Tokyo. Will it be gold this time round?
There's also Grace Reid and Yasmin Harper competing in the women's 3m springboard semi-final earlier at 9am.
To kick-start the day's action, the women's 10km open-water swim which gets under way at 6.30am, with Leah Crisp representing Team GB on her Olympic debut.
The modern pentathlon begins at 10am, with reigning Olympic champions Joe Choong and Kate French going in the men's and women's events respectively. Choong is be joined by Charlie Brown, while European champion Kerenza Bryson will also contest the women's event.
The popular climbing action continues in Paris, with the women's lead climbing semi-final taking place. Erin McNeice and Molly Thompson-Smith have their work cut out, however, currently sitting 10th and 19th respectively after the bouldering section, needing a top eight finish across the two disciplines to make the combined climbing final.
And we head into day two of the women's golf tournament, though Britain's Georgia Hall and Charley Hull are well off the pace after a chastening first day which saw the latter card a nine-over 81. Hall is two-over, nine behind current leader, France's Celine Boutier.
