Page B2 SPORTS Braves Have Best Showing In Culver Cross Country Invitational CULVER Maconaquah finished first and third, i respectively, in the 15th Culver Academies Cross Country Invitational girls' and boys' races held Saturday afternoon. Maconaquah edged Brebeuf 125-136 in the girls' meet and trailed Westview and New Prairie in the boys' 71-82-124, Winamac finished fourth in the girls' meet, followed by Caston, 13th; Rochester, 15th; North Miami, 16th; i Lewis Cass, 18th; and Pioneer, 21st. I Maconaquah's Jessica Chaplin finished second to lead all Loganland runners. Winamac's Melissa Hilton third and Rochester's Jaymi Hartzler was fifth I to round out the top 10.
